• Closing the Net is promoting the projects and activities initiated and taken forward by the High Seas Task Force members and like-minded partners. These projects aim to stop IUU fishing worldwide.

• www.closingthenet.info focuses on projects related to 'stopping illegal fishing on the high seas'. Our aim is to promote individual projects and activities and encourage interested countries and organisations to join in.
  
• The website will be updated as soon as new information is provided for dissemination.
  
• The Closing the Net project is expected to run until March 2008.
